INFERNAL WAR / KRIEGSMASCHINE – Transfigurations

Here we have two Polish black metal bands, where I have pretty good knowledge of one and no knowledge of the other. Let’s start with Infernal War.

We get 3 songs from Infernal War, and these are three recognizable Infernal War songs, all with a quiet intro and beginning, before it takes off in good Infernal War style. And for those not so familiar to the band, they play a semi-melodic rock and thrash inspired black metal that can easily be called catchy.

Kriegsmaschine provide us with two tracks of infernal black metal. It is not as melodious as Infernal War. There is some variation. This requires more of you as a listener; almost a little German and possibly more a band that only becomes part of the large crowd.
