This third album from the German dark/ death metal sextet rumbles through 12 tracks of pedestrian offerings. A lot of sound, a lot of fury, not much significance. When the best track is Legio Mortis’ interpretation of “Pity The Sadness”, a Paradise Lost cover, you know the originals must have serious issues. Whiny vocals, overblown orchestral keyboards, odd transitions between riff changes – I think the human element of Legio Mortis needs some retooling.
