DAYS OF ANGER – Death Path

Forming in 2010, this Swedish thrash trio push out a debut album in a quick fashion. Vocally bassist Alex Jonsson spits out lyrics to “Damaged” and “Spit On Your Grave” like a madcap scientific crossbreed of Sam Kinison during his comedic scream rants meets Kirk Windstein from Crowbar. Musically "Days Of Anger" mix things up between all out thrash and more mid-tempo to slower doom/power pacing. The one-two riff/drum chops for “All Pigs Must Die” recall the Exodus meets Machine Head style – while “Hands Of Evil” lumbers with that New Orleans sludge/doom sonic quality.
Adequate soloing plus predictable riffing and arrangements means "Death Path" from Days Of Anger isn’t bad, but then again doesn’t light up the world.
