UFO – The Best of a Decade

Judging by the title, you’d think this was a compilation from the latest decade, but that’s only partially true. It’s a collection of songs from the albums recorded after Vinnie Moore took over the guitar duties from Michael Schenker. In other words the songs are compiled from “You Are Here” (2004), “The Monkey Puzzle” (2006), “The Visitor” (2009), and the live album Showtime (2005).

This is a typical cash-in album from SPV, and I doubt any of the band members had any saying in the process. For the fans who have everything, this is a completely unnecessary CD. But if you haven’t bought the latest albums, this serves as an introduction to the Vinnie Moore era of UFO.
