ORIGIN: Post Preview Track From Antithesis
ORIGIN has posted an advance preview track from their brand new album, Antithesis. The track, “The Aftermath”, will be the album’s lead-off track and can be heard now via the band’s official MySpace: MySpace.com/Origin666.
Antithesis, the follow-up to 2005’s Echoes of Decimation, brings what is widely considered to be the band’s strongest line-up back together (Paul Ryan – guitars / vocals, Jeremy Turner – guitars / vocals, James Lee – vocals, Mike Flores – bass / vocals, and John Longstreth – drums) since the band’s Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas album. Antithesis was engineered by Rob Rebeck at Chapman Studios, mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound, and is set for an April 7 European release date.
ORIGIN will embark on a European headlining tour at the end of May with support from IMPALED and HOUR OF PENANCE. Additionally, ORIGIN have been confirmed as one of the headliner’s at this year’s Central Illinois Metalfest in July. A complete listing of ORIGIN tour dates will be announced shortly.

DISFEAR: Post New Download Track; North American Tour Dates
Sweden’s DISFEAR has posted a download track, “The Cage”, from their brand-new album Live The Storm. “The Cage” can be heard / downloaded now via Disfear.com and MySpace.com/Disfear.
Additionally, DISFEAR has announced a number of North American tour dates in support of Live The Storm. This headlining tour will begin on April 16th in New York, NY and continue through the month of April. DISFEAR has also been confirmed for the U.S. festivals, New England Metal and Hardcore Fest and Maryland Deathfest.
More recently, DISFEAR will tour Finland alongside ROTTEN SOUND later this week. A listing of DISFEAR tour dates can be found below with many more to be announced soon.
DISFEAR recorded Live The Storm, the follow-up to 2003’s Misanthropic Generation, with CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou at his God City Studios in Salem, MA. The record was released internationally last month.
