Introduce your band, and describe your latest release:
“We are Reaven, a Rock / Modern Rock band originally formed in France. We’ve just released our third studio album, Reavolution, which represents a new chapter in our musical journey.
It’s an album about freedom, resilience, hope, and the power we all have to create change, both within ourselves and in the world around us. Musically, it’s definitely heavier, more powerful, and more rock-driven than our previous album, taking our sound in a more intense direction while staying true to the melodic identity that defines Reaven.”
What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?
“I think one of the biggest challenges today is standing out in an incredibly crowded music industry. There’s so much music being released every single day, and while digital platforms have made it easier than ever to share your work with the world, they’ve also made it much harder to capture people’s attention.
As independent artists, we have to wear so many different hats. Sometimes, the challenge is simply finding enough time to focus on what matters most: creating music. And we also often face the situation of seeing funds dedicated to music becoming more scarce.
But at the same time, it’s an exciting era because we can connect directly with people all around the world. And that’s something truly amazing.”
When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?
“I think it happened progressively, but touring internationally was definitely a turning point.Reaven started with Vince, our drummer, and me. We grew up in the same town in France and shared this dream of creating music and taking it as far as possible since we were kids.
When we began performing abroad and saw people in countries we’d never visited singing our songs, that was an incredible feeling. Our previous album, For Tomorrow, really helped us expand internationally, eventually taking us on tours across more than 15 countries, including Japan.
That’s when we truly realised that music could cross borders and connect people regardless of language or culture. And honestly, that’s still one of the most beautiful things about what we do.”
Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?
“Our new album, Reavolution, is probably our most ambitious and personal record so far. We wanted to create something powerful, uplifting and meaningful, while keeping the energy and melodic identity that define Reaven.
There’s a real diversity of atmospheres throughout the album. You’ll find energetic rock anthems, emotional moments, catchy melodies and songs that invite you to reflect, dream or simply let go.
Tracks like Reavolution In My Heart, Free Your Mind and Sing For The Revolution really capture the spirit of the record. The central idea behind Reavolution is that every revolution begins within ourselves. It’s about breaking barriers, embracing freedom and finding the courage to move forward. If you’re into melodic rock with big choruses, strong emotions and a positive message, there’s a good chance you’ll find something to connect with.

How does a song typically come together for you?
“As the songwriter and composer, I usually start with a melody, a chord progression or sometimes just a feeling. I play the guitar and piano, so ideas can emerge from either instrument. Sometimes a song begins with a simple acoustic guitar riff, while other times it’s a piano melody or a vocal line that comes to me unexpectedly.
I like to let the music guide the creative process rather than forcing it into a particular direction. Once I have the foundations of a song, we work on bringing it to life with Vince, developing the arrangements, the dynamics and the overall energy.
What I love about songwriting is that there’s no single formula. Every song has its own story and its own way of coming into existence.”
How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader?
“I’d describe Reaven as a mix of Indie Rock, Modern Rock and Pop Rock, with a strong emphasis on melodies and powerful choruses.
We love the raw energy of rock music, but we’re equally passionate about creating songs that people can sing along to and connect with emotionally. Our sound can be energetic, atmospheric, intimate or explosive, depending on the song.
And I think our live performances are an essential part of our identity. We always try to bring that same energy and authenticity into our recordings. If I had to sum it up in just a few words, I’d say: powerful rock, universal melodies and genuine emotions.”
What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?
“Above all, I want people to feel something. Music has this extraordinary ability to accompany us through different moments of our lives. It can give us strength when we’re struggling, bring back memories, inspire us or simply make us feel alive.
With Reaven, we’ve always tried to share messages of hope, freedom, resilience and unity. I don’t necessarily want to tell people what to think or how to feel. I’d rather give them something they can make their own.
If one of our songs helps someone through a difficult moment, inspires them to follow a dream or simply puts a smile on their face, then we’ve achieved something meaningful.”
Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why?
“Latin America, without a doubt! We’ve already had the chance to tour extensively across Europe, Scandinavia, the Balkans and Japan, but Latin America is a part of the world we’ve wanted to explore for a long time.
There’s such an incredible passion for rock music in countries like Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Chile. We’ve also received support from listeners and music media across Latin America over the years, which makes us even more excited about the possibility of performing there.
We’re currently working towards our first Latin American tour in 2027, and honestly, it would be a dream come true.”
How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?
“I think our sound has evolved naturally alongside us. With each album, we’ve gained more experience, both as musicians and as individuals. Touring internationally, meeting different audiences and discovering new musical influences have all contributed to shaping our identity.
Our earlier material already had that melodic rock foundation, but over time, we’ve become more confident in exploring different textures, arrangements and emotions. With For Tomorrow, we developed a broader, more atmospheric sound, while keeping the energy of our live performances.
And with Reavolution, I feel we’ve taken another step forward. The production is more ambitious, the arrangements are richer and the songs reflect a stronger sense of artistic freedom. But despite that evolution, our core identity remains the same: melody, emotion and energy.”
How excited are you for 2027, and what can fans expect from you?
“We’re incredibly excited!
2026 has already been a very important year for us with the release of Reavolution, and we see 2027 as the opportunity to bring this new music to as many people as possible.
We’re preparing the next chapter of the Reavolution Tour, with plans to perform in several countries and hopefully make our long-awaited debut in Latin America.
There will also be new live content, videos and plenty of surprises along the way.
But above all, we’re looking forward to getting back on stage, meeting our fans and sharing those unforgettable moments that make live music so special. We’ve already come a long way, but we genuinely feel that the best is still ahead of us.
Welcome to the Reavolution!”
