Introduce your band, and describe your latest release:
The band are a 4 piece called Naked Sunday, an alternative art rock band, and our latest single is called Mutha Fucka!
What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?
The change from earning an audience live, to building one online, people need to be more social than social media.
When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?
2006, It was then I started on my own, got a record label release my single that year and built a band around it.
Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?
Because it’s mean, fun, bouncy and our take on Break Stuff.
How does a song typically come together for you?
Words, bit of a strum on acoustic, almost a moment of magic, and it just happens to become that moment of creativity, sometimes, we just jam as a band or my ears prick up and I’m like, that’s Naked Sunday.
How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader?
Hard rock n harmonies, pomp n pink.
What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?
That others feel how they do, a Naked Sunday gigs a mental health journal.
Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why?
Paris, because it would complete the journey.
How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?
It’s gradually got heavier, I was obsessed with ballads for years, then I grew some bollocks and realised I could sing hard rock.
How excited are you for 2026, and what can fans expect from you?
2026 has been fun, what fans can expect is more of the same, but I promise next year something grand will happen!
