SEVENEVES – new album out in November

The project band SEVENEVES based in Stjørdal in Trøndelag is releasing the album Rush Hour Secrets on Apollon Records. The album will be available on LP and CD, and in addition, it will be accessible on all streaming services. The main force behind the project is songwriter, singer, and bassist Terje Craig.

With a childhood filled with British 60s pop, 40s and 50s jazz, 70s hard rock and symphonic rock, and 80s synth pop, one becomes quite musically confused. Norwegian/Scottish Terje Craig allows this upbringing to manifest in his songwriting, and through SEVENEVES, it has resulted in RUSH HOUR SECRETS – an album with exciting tones and catchy choruses. Many have described the music as prog-pop…

The new single Still Not Done is out now

This is certainly not a solo album. To achieve the right expression in the songs, he has had a musical core consisting of his wife Elen Cath Hopen (vocals) as well as two Oslo-based musicians; drummer Arild Brøter (Pymlico, Bjørn Riis) and guitarist Stephan Hvinden (Pymlico, Oak).

Several guest musicians also make a strong impact on the songs. Guitarists Eddie Mulder (NL), Anders Buaas, Kristian Raanes, and Atle Dybå all play sparkling solos. Additionally, keyboardists Stevie Watts (UK), Anders Myrvold, Stein Larsen, and Odd Halvor Moen contribute creative coloring. For the song Invisible Hands, we needed a younger female voice, and local talent Jenny Benjaminsen took on the challenge. Veteran Arne Skognes also contributes with percussion.
