This delightfully hard-hitting outfit from Belfast blew my socks off by means of the four riff-fueled, passion-soaked compositions that constitute their upcoming EP titled Bombs Away and judging by the depth and electrifying vibe of this particular piece of work, something tells me that Triggertone will go far in life.  

There is an undiluted sense of pure, raw emotion on display throughout, and when you mix that with memorable vocal melodies, excellent musicianship, commanding riffs, an occasionally sludge-like vibe à la the self-titled opus by Alice in Chains, and a muscular not to mention organic production, what you get is a winner. Perhaps its greatest strength is that aura of untamed wildness that permeates each track, almost as if these chaps are leaving nothing unsaid and are hellbent on getting stuff out of their system no matter the cost. Honesty, integrity, and the redemptive power of art are what this fabulous constellation of poets and madmen is all about, which is merely another way of saying that grunge-infused alt. rock has rarely sounded better than it does here, and fans of Soundgarden, Silverchair, and the aforementioned Alice in Chains will surely want this in their collection. Is this a musical reflection on what it means to stay human in a world that is completely overstimulated? Food for thought, friends.
