FROCKET – releases debut single

Frocket is an explosive young power trio with roots in Bergen’s underground jazz, rock, and punk scenes. The band features guitarist and vocalist Arin Gran, known from bands such as Dykdypp and Dogmode, alongside the rhythm section from Superføkk and Jubb: Eik Stavem on bass and Victor Skullerud on drums.

With an intense musical chemistry, Frocket moves effortlessly between crushing riffs, psychedelic soundscapes, jazz-inspired improvisation, and tight, groove-driven rhythms. The band strikes the perfect balance between expansive, free-flowing improvisation and razor-sharp, meticulously arranged passages.

Frocket combines the raw energy of the classic power trio with a modern and highly distinctive sound. Their music draws inspiration from the blues-rock power of Cream and Jimi Hendrix, the heavy psychedelia of Slift and Motorpsycho, the exploratory approach of Elephant9 and Kanaan, and the progressive legacy of King Crimson.
