Leeds post-hardcore band KILL THE SILENCE continue their resurgence with the deeply engrossing new EP, Resolve, set for release on Friday 17th April. The band have also unleashed their enticing new single and video, Superficial –

Initially conceived by vocalist Jason Walsh and lead guitarist Sam Rickerby during their college days, the band finalized their lineup in 2018 with Ian Souch on bass and John Wallis on drums. They made their initial impact with the debut EP, Bloodlines, which helped establish their reputation as a gripping live act.

In the years that followed, KILL THE SILENCE shared stages with the likes of We Came As Romans and Mallory Knox, while releasing explosive singles such as Inevitable, Sinner, and Lost At Sea. Rhythm guitarist Daniel Ridding later joined the band, adding another layer of texture to their already striking sound.

Further writing and refining of new material led to the release of the recent singles Hide & Seek and The Final Word, both of which received support from Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing, marking a triumphant return.

Their forthcoming EP, Resolve, signals the band’s growth and renewed direction. Vocalist Jason Walsh says: “We took our time with this EP and made sure it really represents where we’re at as a band. It feels like the most honest thing we’ve released so far.”

With more music on the horizon and live performances planned, there’s nothing stopping the band’s ascent.
