SLAAMASKIN – new EP out in April

Slaamaskin are back with “Endevendt”, a new EP that lands April 2, 2026 on digital, followed by a vinyl edition on April 11. The release comes out through the band’s own operation in collaboration with A Production, and the vinyl version expands into an LP by adding a remastered version of the 2016 EP on the B-side. The band will mark the vinyl release with a hometown show on April 11 at Statsraaden Bar & Reception (Bryggen, Bergen).

Slaamaskin’s music sits in the overlap between ’90s metal and hardcore, with the push-and-pull that comes from a band built on different backgrounds. Their writing is direct and riff-led, but the intention is bigger than just volume. The band describe the songs as a reaction to the current state of the world, while still holding onto the idea of keeping the spirit alive. One single is planned ahead of release day – “Stridshaud” – and a new video is in production with Yorick Sabri Gontarek.

“Endevendt” is Slaamaskin’s fourth release, following “Trollveggen”, which picked up strong reactions in the press (including 5/6 in Scream Magazine, 8.5/10 at Metalized, and 12/15 in Legacy). With this EP, the band keep the sound tight and physical, and put the focus back on impact; the kind that works just as well in headphones as it does in a packed room.
