Prince of Darkness – A Live Tribute by GOATMILKER – Out 20th of march!
2025 was the year the world lost its biggest metal legend, Ozzy Osbourne. To honour “The Prince of Darkness”, a tribute concert was held at the legendary venue Hulen in Bergen, Norway, on December 4th, 2025. GOATMILKER were among a host of local bands invited to take part in the event. To keep the spirit of Ozzy alive the band is releasing their performance from this memorable night as a live EP: Prince of Darkness – A Live Tribute!
The concert opens with one of the most iconic heavy metal riffs ever, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, setting the stage for a night of heavy riffs, wailing vocals and thunderous drums! From GOATMILKER’s own catalog we tear into Storm (Dreams to Dust), a song largely inspired by Ozzy and Black Sabbath. The influences are worn proudly on its sleeve, particularly in the bridge, which features an additional nod to Black Sabbath. Rounding out the concert is one of the most epic tracks from Ozzy Osbourne’s solo debut, Blizzard of Ozz — Mr. Crowley. From the calm, almost western-like intro to the screaming guitar solos, this is a song that grabs the audience by the throat and never lets go.
