Tickets

Having previously announced a special concert evening in collaboration with Over Oslo; Wardruna now reveal the full program of the two-day Nordic Night in June. Two of the most exciting voices in contemporary Nordic folk music join the event curated by Einar Selvik: Sara Parkman and Ævestaden. They will perform alongside Mari Boine and Gåte (acoustic).

Sara Parkman

One of the most distinctive figures in modern Swedish folk music, Sara Parkman is known for her powerful reinterpretation of tradition and her critically acclaimed breakthrough album Eros Agape Philia, praised for its mystical, modern and uncompromising sound.

Ævestaden

The Norwegian trio Ævestaden creates modern folk music where tradition meets electronic soundscapes. With long melodies, poetic lyrics and a distinctive sonic identity, they have quickly established themselves as one of the most important emerging names on the Nordic folk scene.

Nordic Night has been presented in different formats across various continents, shaped around locations that enhance and reflect the music. For the first time, the concept now comes home to Norway — set at the natural amphitheatre of Grefsenkollen overlooking the Oslo fjord. This is a rare opportunity to experience Nordic Night in the landscape that originally shaped this music, together with a hand-picked lineup of artists in one of Oslo’s most distinctive concert settings.
