The debut album by these hard rocking Norwegians impressed this writer greatly and was a vigorous, vibrant, and riveting tour de force of groove, hooks, crunchy riffs, and 70s vibes. All of that is very much present throughout this sophomore effort of theirs too, but what sets the latter slightly apart from its predecessor is the highly intuitive and spontaneous spirit that courses through it. A sense of something refreshing and unfiltered unites the two outputs, however, but this new batch of songs seems to be have written almost off the cuff, and it totally works for these chaps in that they make it sound exciting, loud, and joyous. Pretty much everything about this new LP is memorable including the raw production, and it neatly waves many different influences into its stimulating web of fiery rock ‘n’ roll. It is also positively funky in places; check out “Feed Me a Groove” if you do not believe me. These cool dudes could go very far should they so desire.
