With an uplifting sound that’s packed with important lyrical meaning,

Primo Danger return with their most personal single yet ‘Waiting’!

When it comes to the crucial lyrical content that runs through ‘Waiting’, lead singer Phillip Jackson describes how “I had written this track a year ago, which broke a writing pattern for me. I tend to be more self-reflective, recounting isolative feelings in my lyrics, I wanted to do something different, but still relative. This time I chose to write the track more centric towards gun violence and the real lack of change to address it in America. I feel like there is a real need to fund mental health resources in schools and there needs to be more encouragement to participate in therapy outside of schools, because the root cause is a poor mental state, not necessarily the weapons themselves. It’s an issue that has only got worse, and unfortunately won’t get any better unless there is a real change to address the mental health crises.”

The remainder of the creative process was completely natural for Phillip, as he explains how “I wrote ‘Waiting’ mainly in my bedroom, and then I collaborated with the rest of the band on changes, along with our engineer Greg who really helped us shape the track in such a positive way. We’re so excited to show everyone this.” ‘Waiting’ will rightfully punch its way out of your speakers from the moment you hit play. Demanding your attention with hard hitting riffs, and effortlessly natural vocals that shine the light on an urgent subject matter.

Formed in Dallas, Texas, Primo Danger exemplifies an exuberantly high-octane style, where they’ve orchestrated bitingly distorted aural escapism which any fans of indie rock, post-punk, and even those surrounding will find catharsis within.

Waiting’ is available right now!
