Panzerpappa is back – new single in collaboration with Ståle Storløkken!

The wait is finally over! Six years after their last album, Summarisk suite, Panzerpappa returns with new music. The critically acclaimed prog rock quintet has long been a leading force in instrumental progressive rock, and now they are releasing a highly anticipated new single – featuring none other than keyboardist Ståle Storløkken, known from Elephant 9, Supersilent, Terje Rypdal, and Motorpsycho, as a guest soloist.

Since the late 1990s, Panzerpappa has built a solid reputation in the international prog rock scene. With a unique combination of complex arrangements, melodic finesse, and humorous elements, they have earned praise from both audiences and critics. Their music balances between playfulness and sophistication and is often compared to legendary acts such as Samla Mammas Manna, Univers Zero, King Crimson, and Henry Cow.

The band has performed both in Norway and abroad, including at prestigious festivals such as the RIO Festival in France and Zappanale in Germany. They have also collaborated with renowned musicians within the genre, including Richard Sinclair, known from legendary prog rock bands like Caravan, Hatfield and the North, and Camel.
With a dynamic mix of complex rhythms, intriguing harmonies, and adventurous arrangements, the band once again proves why they are a favorite among prog enthusiasts both in Norway and internationally. The upcoming album Landsbysladder, is set to be released in 2025.
The single will be released on March 14 and will be available on all streaming platforms.
