HELL IN THE CLUB – Shadow of the Monster

The third album from Italian melodic /sleaze hard rock band Hell in the Club continues to unleash infectious anthems that remind me a lot of the current Scandinavian brigade that straddle those 80’s Sunset Strip days with a little more bite from heavy metal. "Shadow of the Monster" moves from more Mötley Crüe style energy efforts like "DANCE!" or spunky "Try Me, Hate Me" into the tender power ballad "Naked" as well as the funkier meets Southern swagger for "Hell Sweet Hell" to prove the quartet’s seasoning and versatility.
One hopes that Davide Moras (also singer for Elvenking) keeps Hell in the Club stride for stride with his main work, as the band deserve all the attention and accolades they are receiving for bringing the spirit, fun, and good times of the older glam/sleaze hard rock scene to a new generation.
