Norwegian Black Metal Horde UBUREN Releases New Single “Burn The Bridge”; New Album “Dødsdans i Aske” Out On September 25th as Vinyl and CD Via Dusktone!
Stavanger-based black metal band UBUREN has released their new single “Burn The Bridge,” taken from the band’s new album “Dødsdans i Aske” slated for release on September 25th via Dusktone

“Dødsdans i Aske,” the latest ice cold breath of UBUREN to enter the black metal soundscapes of the world, is finally here. With heavy rhythms, melancolic riffs and lyrics that dig deep into the hardships and desperation of human existence, the album is a journey through time. A search for deeper meaning through histories of violence, solitude, pain, and the passing of time. Finding solid ground in your roots to endure the everlasting constant of change.
Norwegian firestarters UBUREN play harsh black metal with a personal interpretation of viking metal, brought together in an endless stream where thoughts and music have melted together and become one indescribable piece.
UBUREN is focused on being a live-band over being a studio band, headlining tours all over the world in countries such as Mexico, England, Germany, and Russia. They have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Norwegian Black Metal like Enslaved, Dimmu Borgir, and Carpathian Forest.
The band takes its name from a mountain with a dark rumoured past in the birthplace of two of the band members – Ask and Bior. The word “Uburen” is based on old Norse, and can not be directly translated into English, but its meaning would be “carried out” or “cast out”.
