DØDSEGO is a seven-piece psychedelic rock force operating at the intersection of progressive rock and punk. Through explosive dynamics and extended compositions, the band channels chaos into a focused, visceral live experience
The band consists of Henrik Høibraaten (vocals, guitar), Martin Østbye Haugen (bass, backing vocals), Filip Melby Holm (guitar), Per Kamfjord (drums, backing vocals), Jonas Ulleland (saxophones), Nicolas Palacios (guitar, synthesizer), and a seventh member, Julie Røbekk Hopshaug, as the visual jockey.
At the heart of the band is a simple idea: music only exists when it is shared. We are drawn to the moments where control gives way to connection, and where sound becomes something lived rather than constructed.
On Friday, February 27, 2026, DØDSEGO will release their debut album Reisen Vol. 1 – Beyond the Void, the first chapter of a larger, continuous project. The album is constructed as a single unfolding journey, where the pieces flow into one another and function as parts of a whole rather than as standalone tracks.
The album was mixed by the great Håvard Soknes (Spidergawd, Kanaan) and mastered by George Tanderø (Kvelertak, Honningbarna, a-ha). The artwork was created by our own Martin Østbye Haugen and Julie Røbekk Hopshaug.
Now the band has released the single Tangerine Dream, Part 1.
Tangerine Dream, Part 1 is an extracted section from the album, intended as an entry point into the full work rather than a traditional radio single.
DØDSEGO is first and foremost a live band, and March will be spent playing multiple shows across Norway and Denmark, including Bar Moskus in Trondheim, Parkteatret Scene in Oslo and Vesterbro Beat Dage in Copenhagen.
SINGLE – Tangerine Dream, Part 1
Tangerine Dream explores the desire to chase one’s dreams until they begin to dissolve.
Set in a psychedelic, cosmic landscape, the song follows a consciousness drifting beyond ego, body, and identity.
As reality fractures and the self fades away, one question remains:
If everything you are was a dream, what’s left when it ends?

Reisen Vol. 1 – Beyond The Void is the first chapter of a cosmic hero’s journey.
The album follows a human consciousness drawn toward an unknown signal, drifting through a psychedelic universe where time, space, and identity collapse.
Through dissolution and rebirth, the story questions happiness, ego, and the nature of existence itself.
The core of the album was recorded live to preserve its fragile human pulse. In a time of increasing digital isolation and perfectionism, we wanted the music to breathe — shaped by listening, trust, and real human connection.
Beyond The Void invites the listener to settle in and let go, moving through its world at their own pace — opening space for imagination, memory, and emotional release when life feels overwhelming.
