KARNAGE THROUGH CROSSING – interview

KARNAGE THROUGH CROSSING – interview

Introduce your band, and describe your latest release:

We are Karnage Through Crossing, the gritty melodic Heavy Metal Crossover, fusing nwothm and thrash metal with explosive brief movements of death metal.

On September 5th we released our new single The Underground! Magnetizing fans of Megadeth, Grim Reaper, and judas priest, this high energy song is drained to be a timeless track for the ages.

What’s the hardest part about being a band in this day and age?

Convincing artists to pour all their heart, soul, and tone into something that doesn’t at first pay.

When did you realise that your project had the potential to be much more than just a fun idea?

Between our love for heavy music, love for the scene, and our songwriters natural passion for creating, it didn’t take long for everyone else to see how serious we were and we knew it when we were packing our local entry bars by ourselves.

Tell us about your latest release, why should we check it out?

This song NEVER let’s you go!! It’s got it all, high speed rhythms, heavy punching verses, belting high and growling low choruses, melodic headbanging licks and a solo that will make you scream for the classics!! The Underground is the embodiment of rebellion and the herald of Heavy Metal.

How does a song typically come together for you?

An idea or melody start the song. With an idea you have a vision and craft the statement or story around that dream. With a melody you are inspired beyond the music and given a connection to the mood of the music which forms the lyrics.

How would you describe your sound to an unfamiliar reader?

KTX is gritty melodic empowering heavy metal, with notable influences from Thrash Metal, Death Metal, and 80s hard rock.

What do you want listeners to take away from listening to your band?

Remember our song writers live and bleed heavy metal! There’s more then just a song you’re hearing, this is a message, a statement! And a legacy we all share together, in the Pit, on our jackets, and in our lives. Come for the story, stay for the power!!

Where would you really like to tour that you haven’t done so yet, and why?

Europe is the goal! We want to do the full festival circuit and show the motherland of Heavy Metal as long as we breathe and roar we will not let the steel die.

How would you say that the sound of your band has progressed over the years?

We’ve become more technical and heavy where when we first started it was more aligned with genetic trad metal.

How excited are you for 2025, and what can fans expect from you?

2025 has been our year!! We’ve played dozens of amazing shows, released some wild music beyond measure from what we shared in the past, and are over halfway done or second album. We are looking forward to sharing the next era of KTX with all of you!
