ALYKSIR – metal from Canada

Alyksir is a Montréal based, Melodic Death metal act founded by guitarist and vocalist Alexander Clarke, who was initially the founder of Fateless (Guitarist) in 2006 from Montréal and released one album named Dawn of Ignorance in 2012, then this band disbanded in 2013, while he continued to found Alyksir as a solo project in 2013.

Alyksir moved several times between a solo project and a band project, while Alex formed another project, Turmoil. However, in 2018 he relocated to the UK and continued the journey with Alyksir, releasing 2 demo tracks in 2019. In 2020 he then returned to Montréal to start Alyksir up again as a full band.

Since late 2023 the band had the chance to hit the stage for the first time and officially making an appearance and recorded the first first full length album named Devourer with Remi Legresley from LeGrizzly Productions. Album was released in March 2025 followed by a short tour in Canada to promote it
