New album LEAVE NOBODY BEHIND by LORENTZEN was released on APOLLON RECORDS on May 30th – An Evocative Fusion of Minimalist Prog and Classical Elegance interspersed with Rainer Maria Rilke’s poetry.

Drawing inspiration from visionaries such as Arvo Pärt, Pēteris Vasks, Steve Reich, Fripp/ King Crimson, Nils Frahm and Nik Bärtsch, Leave Nobody Behind weaves a mesmerizing tapestry of sound. Anchoring the album is a theme of hope, embodied in the eponymous title track and pieces like Dimensions of Hope I-II. Yet, Leave Nobody Behind doesn’t shy away from introspection, delving into the human experience with Rainer Maria Rilke’s poetry brought to life by Brian M. Talgo’s stirring recitations.
Fans of progressive rock, modern classical music, and Nordic jazz will find this release to be a compelling addition to their collections.
A roster of great contributors come together in this project including Atle Pakusch Gundersen (Wintherstormer, The Cut), Trond Gjellum (Panzerpappa), Jácome Guerrero Kiko (Superkabras), Paulin Skoglund-Voss (sought after solo cellist and session musician), Markus Reuter (Stick Men), Davide Rossi (violin for Coldplay, Verve and many others) and Charlotte Valstad Nilsen (ex Gentle Knife). The album was mostly recorded in Lydkjøkkenet by Øystein Vesaas and in Double Decker Studios by Arild Brøter. Mastering by Jacob Holm-Lupo. Cover design by Siv Gade Lien Additional artwork by Susanne Hæstad.
The album is produced and mixed by Eivind Lorentzen and Øystein Vesaas. Music composed by Lorentzen except Dimensions of Hope I-II composed by Lorentzen, Antonio de Honestis and John Sinks.
