MORKOBOT – Gorgo

The fuck is this, an instrumental djent demo?! The entire duration of this album all I hear is good ideas for actual songs but the prevalent motive seems to be djent. Djent in the morning, djent in the afternoon, djent in the evening. Songs do not much differ from each other and within. Ok, so halfway I do get to hear a different vibe but briefly, too little, too late. Maybe with Marilyn Manson vocals we would have something here but as an instrumental affair it really does nothing for me, whereby the points I actually do award are just for showing up and not pissing me off too damn much. This really sounds like these guys just have fun but are not actually serious about making music so I am erasing this off my hard drive as we speak.
