MAJESTIC DOWNFALL – …When Dead

One man death/doom metal here from Mexico’s Majestic Downfall, as "…When Dead" is the fourth studio album since their 2006 inception. Jacobo Córdova is the mastermind behind these 5 tracks – most of which are a minimum of 11-15 minutes. Draconian and My Dying Bride come up when taking in these songs – heavy, melancholic, and dark with occasional spirited guitar passages to give life to the death/doom template. "The Brick, The Spirit" and "The Rain of the Dead" cement themselves because of smart construction, knowing when to be more melodic or when to be foreboding.
