Crossing blues based hard rock across continental lines, Mother Road consists of musicians from Germany in ex-Soul Doctor guitarist Chris Lyne and Austin, Texas based vocalist Keith Slack – rounded out by Alessandro Del Vecchio on keyboards, Frank Binke on bass, and Athanasios Zacky Tsoukas on drums. If you love artists such as Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Whitesnake (pre-1987), and Led Zeppelin among others, these 11 songs will knock you senseless.
Fiery guitar work, strong groove ethics, soulful vocals, and this 70’s organ vibe penetrates to make "Feather in Your Hat", "Drive Me Crazy", and "Poor Boy (Long Way Out)" foot stompers that force you to move- as the best blues based hard rock does. Curious to know if the band will be able to get together some shows down the line- even if it’s in a one off festival, Mother Road has the tools in songwriting and ability to give the audience an enthralling experience.
