Formed in shady suburbs of Rome in 1981, Fingernails were to become one of the leading forces in Italian underground metal scene. Since the early days, their music direction is a mix between punk, speed and classic metal, heavily influenced by Motorhead and beer. You can get the idea about the band’s attitude and lyrical topics form the song titles, such as “Heavy Metal Forces”, “Crazy for Blowjobs” and “Kill the Rich”, don’t you? In a hostile and narrow minded Italian music environment, after releasing 4 demos, they finally managed to publish their 1st self-titled album in 1988. This helped the band to create further underground connections to countries like Germany, Belgium and the U.S.A, among others. 31 years later, Fingernails are back to kick some more ass on their current ”European Riot Tour” and with their new album ”Alles Verboten”. Guarantee: They music and shows are now like they were than, 100% true, no bullshit metal! On stage they are energy filled atomic weapon waiting to explode, and when it does it will create chaos.
