We are UNDYING INC, an extreme metal band from the chaos called New Delhi and play aggressive metal with shades of Thrash, Brutal Death Metal, Djent, Prog, Tech Metal, Deathcore, 90’s Groove Metal & then some. Our influences are varied and we draw inspiration from a whole lot of bands / artists and have endeavored to make heavy music that is purely ‘HEAVY’, hard to classify & devoid of any weak commercial gloss or typical genre-specific pigeonholing. We released our new album Aggressive World Dynasty in Dec 2010, consisting of 12 tracks; produced, mixed & mastered by Anupam Roy of Grey Studios & recorded by Keshav Dhar of Skyharbor.

The album has been released independently on our home label Undead Noise and has been hailed as the #1 Metal Album Of The Year by India’s premier rock music magazines as Rolling Stone India, Rock Street Journal, as well as Headbanger’s India, Indian Music Revolution, Indianrockmp3 and other independent webzines. Undying Inc also swept the ROLLING STONES METAL AWARDS 2011 bagging 3 prestigious Awards. The big one being the coveted ‘Metal Album Of The Year’ (critic’s choice) for Aggressive World Dynasty as well as individual musicianship awards for Best Metal Drummer & Best Metal Vocalist of The Year. We have played more than 100 shows consisting of pubs, clubs , festivals & arena concerts in India and have also had the immense fortune of opening for one of our idols Meshuggah, as well as other metal powerhouses such as  Satyricon, Enslaved, Textures, Amon Amarth, Tesseract & Benea Reach amongst others on their India tours.

Last Year the world’s premier metal magazine Metal Hammer U.K chose Undying Inc as the only other band to represent Metal from India on the Planet Metal Vol.1 International Metal Compilation which was distributed to more than 125,000 readers worldwide. Undying Inc is also one of the first Indian metal bands to be have the honor of being endorsed by Ibanez Guitars, LINE 6 Amplification & Processors and SONOR Drums.

 

 

Torch er endelig tilbake med nytt album, 5 år etter debuten ‘Death To Perfection’,  i første omgang med singlen ‘Wake Me When It’s Over’ og i august kommer albumet ‘Pt.IV: A New Beginning’.

Siden debuten har bandet utviklet seg fra en kryssning av hardcore, numetal og screamo mot en tyngre sound, mer metal enn noen gang men også med plass til mykere innslag.

Albumet er i hovedsak spilt inn av bandet selv i deres eget studio i Trondheim og mikset av stjerneprodusenten Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Everytime I Die, The Cure). Evetts ble tvert fan av bandet, og hørte seg varm på preprodene i en månedes tid før han begynte å mikse plata i sitt studio i California. Han fikk Alan Douches (Mastodon, Converge, Sufjan Stevens) til å gjøre mastering. Resultatet er mildt sagt eksplosivt med en dybde og trøkk i produksjonen få er foruten.

Nå er det klart, et nytt kapitel for Torch og et nytt kapitel for norsk metal!
