LAST VIEW – Hell In Reverse

Swedish hardcore flavored metal, Last View employ dual vocalists with their dual guitar attack. Musically loving The Haunted and Entombed just as much as the metal-core breakdowns, songs like “The Ties That Bind” and “Fear: It’s Yours” certainly pull no punches on the aggressive scale. The good cop/ bad cop scream spectrum grates on my nerves as there’s just no versatility to distinguish one word picture from the next.

Probably experiencing the sextet live will convert more to the Last View fold – on “Hell In Reverse” it’s just familiar territory without much cause for excitement.
