DOTMA – Sleep Paralyses

Finnish quintet with melodic power metal at the helm. Keyboards provide the symphonic element, and Johanna Lesonen has an adequate operatic female voice… but one wonders whether "Sleep Paralyses" delivers anything new that Nightwish or Rhapsody produce so much better. Overblown in every sense of the word, it’s like a child getting into a paint fight with an empty canvas – to some it may be art, yet most will find it just nonsense.
