New Signing – Bourbon Flame
Dark Essence Records is proud to announce the signing of Bourbon Flame, Bergen's own flagship in the dark waters of dirty eighties inspired rock n' roll. Boasting members both formerly and currently involved with Enslaved, Hades Almighty, Aeternus, Gorgoroth, Audrey Horne, I and M-Eternal, Bourbon Flame carry considerable musical weight and experience. The band has recently finished their self titled debut album in Conclave & Earshot studios together with producer Bjørnar E. Nilsen(Black Hole Generator, Helheim, Vulture Industries, Dead to this World, Sulphur, etc.), and the album is scheduled for release on the 15'Th of October 2007. If you'd like to warm up your ears for this release we suggest: "GNR – Appetite for destruction and Mothley Crüe – Dr. Feelgood".

New Signing – Dead to this World
We at Dark Essence Records are very pleased to announce the signing of, the new band from former Immortal bass wielder Iscariah, Dead to this World. The band is these days putting the final touches on their upcoming debut "First Strike for Spiritual Renewance". We have heard mixes in progress and can guarantee a fine piece of pitch black thrash metal that will blow your head straight of! Drumming duties are handled by ex-Gorgoroth drummer Kvitrafn, while ex-Old Funeral guitar player and The Battalion chieftain Stud Bronson appear on guest vocals.

Dark Essence at Hole in the Sky
Dark Essence Records will hold an exclusive pre-listening session for three of our coming releases at the Hole in The Sky Festival in Bergen, Norway. The releases in question are "Vulture Industries – The Dystopia Journals", "Dead to This World – First Strike for Spiritual Renewance" and "Bourbon Flame – Bourbon Flame". The pre listening session will be held on Thursday 23'rd in the pub at Garage(HITS venue) and will start 16.30 sharp and last until the doors open at 19.00, and the time is due for Deathcon. Both press and fans are welcome at the listening session, and both promos and label samplers will be available. Label representatives will be present, and members from all three bands are available for questions and photo shots during the session.
Taake gigs cancelled
Due to front man Hoest's incarceration the two shows in Milano and Roma in Italy have been postponed for an unknown amount of time. Hoest will serve a short prison sentence and be out again this autumn.
