 UGLY KID JOE - The Cats are Back in the CradleAv Andrea Chirulescu
Back in the days is what some of us might call the years when we weeped on the rhythms of 'Cats in the Cradle' or we discovered the irony of 'Everything about you'. Ugly Kid Joe was a known name back then, after which they took a pretty long break until 2012 when, surprisingly, I started noticing their name on various festivals lineups. Recently I also found out that they are back for more than few shows in the summer and they are coming out with a new record - Stairway to Hell. Even more recently I found out they are going to play a tour together with Skid Row and I thought it would be the perfect occasion to try to have a chat with the guys I used to admire on TV as a teen. The result of my conversation with the band's vocalist, Whit Crane, can be heard in the recording below. Unfortunately, my phone messed a bit the volume so I had to edit it and it might sound odd at times. But besides the technical issue, I found it to be a very pleasant dialogue and I hope you're going to enjoy it as well. And then check out the band's newest release, if you haven't done it yet.
