NEVERSKIN – ‘TIME’
“‘Time’ is the third single of our three-piece release, serving as a deeply personal reflection on both my own journey and my view on the state of the world today. Being 42, my perspective on life has naturally shifted, and I find myself reflecting on the past, present, and future. While I write my lyrics metaphorically so listeners can find their own meaning, for me, this track merges my personal experiences with a broader commentary on the societal decay we’ve been witnessing—the eternal struggle between modern evolution and technology versus the raw, emotional human side of life and death. Ultimately, ‘Time’ is about the necessity of perspective; looking at the immense hardships people face globally forces you to relativize your own life, reminding us to stop letting small, everyday setbacks overshadow the bigger picture and to truly value the state of life we are in.”
