South Africa dark folk/psychedelic/world music artist Ann Jangle is releasing her new live EP "Into The Desert"

The tracks are deeply rooted in a psychedelic journey that will keep you playing them on repeat.

World folk artist and producer Ann Jangles is heavily Influenced by West African rhythms & chants. She is renowned for collaborating with musicians across the world to bring you a unique sound combined with her signature vocal range.

On her latest EP Into The Desert Ann teams up with Sagarias Tsam, a local Namibian musician in Swakopmund on the rerecording of two older tracks, the 2015 full album (Kicking Sawdust) track – "Oh Mi Madre", and "Heavier Than Lead" from her solo album (African Dream Parade) as well as two brand new singles "Soul Riding" and Free to Run".

Both new tracks were written in Zambia & Tanzania while Ann was cycling through Africa to uplift communities through music & raise awareness for animals. This time round Ann Jangle is in a vehicle with her partner DJ Space Cowboy and their 2 dogs driving from Cape Town to Kenya where they will be relocating, coincidentally the route they both cycled on separate occasions. This journey now called African Dream Odyssey allowed Ann Jangle to have her music equipment and meet and perform with many new great local artists.

Although Covid had most off the shows canceled, Ann still played music and made magic happen. Into the Desert is a very raw and stripped-down EP which takes you on a journey through time into the desert landscapes of Namibia while Sagarias Tsam’s desert blues guitar and vocal style takes you even deeper. The tracks are deeply rooted in a psychedelic journey that will keep you playing them on repeat.
