Italian AOR meets hard rock bliss here through the quintet Perfect View. This 11 song record "Red Moon Rising" is the band’s sophomore outing, and those who love classic Europe, Winger, Dokken, and Journey will treasure this band’s songwriting. Pristine, bright keyboards, spot on happy melodies, and this driving sense of tempo makes "By My Side", "Slave to the Empire", and "Dead End Street" very ear pleasing standouts.
It’s like the 1980’s scene never left in Perfect View’s mindset, and their fans benefit from their rich attention to the genre’s strong hook to melodic songwriting ratios.
