HELLFEST 2012 med siste bandslipp

 

The D day has come, all the soldiers are now gathered for the final assault that will at last able us to conquer the new territory in which Hellfest will take place for several years to come. Victory is a foregone conclusion with over 60 new bands backing us up, who should quickly be joined by legions of troopers from the Metal Nation!  The last bands are :

ALL PIG MUST DIE & WHITECHAPEL cancel their performances at the festival

Once the final phase of the plan is done and that more than 30,000 troopers will have gathered on the morning of June 15, 2012, the 160 bands will deploy over 6 different zones of the new area which is twice as big as the last battlefield from 2006 to 2011. The bands will be dispatched on these 6 areas according to their musical style and importance. 17 bands per day including headliners will play on the two main external stages "Mainstage 1" and "Mainstage 2." A double tent will host two other stages with 18 bands per day. One of them is called "The Altar" and will offer the best Death Metal and Grindcore acts. The other one is called "The Temple" and it is on this stage that Pagan and Black Metal bands will play. Under "The Valley" tent you will find the 5th stage, where you can enjoy 9 bands every day playing Stoner, Doom, Sludge, Psychedelic and other Metal Alternative… Finally 9 bands per day will also perform at "The Warzone" which will be dedicated to Punk, Hardcore, and D-beat. At the entrance of the festival you will find the Metal Corner, where the hostilities will begin at 5pm on the Thursday with 8 bands as well as DJs who will play their evil playlists every night from Thursday to Sunday.
