ALLEN / LANDE – The Showdown

I haven’t read the lyrics to "The Guardian", but somehow I doubt it’s about the newspaper. "The Showdown" is basically olds news in a kind of new wrapping. Magnus Karlsson has written a dozen hard rock tracks, Jørn Lande and Russel Allen do their vocal performance in the vein of the two former albums. Some duels that do not really make me raise any eyebrows. Everything is well done and that’s basically all there’s to this showdown… …which is enough from time to time.
